Websites for bricklayers
Bricklayer website design, from £10 + VAT per month
Brickwork is judged close up, so photograph it close up
Bricklaying is one of the few trades where the quality is visible to anyone who looks. The website’s job is to get people looking, and to show work that stands being looked at.
What your customers check first
Half your work comes from builders, half from homeowners
Your website will show the brickwork itself, job by job, because that is what a customer judges you on before they ring.
Can you match my existing brick
The question on every extension and every repair to an older house. Showing matched work beside original brickwork, with the mortar colour right, is worth more than any amount of description.
Do you work for builders or direct
Whether you take domestic jobs, subcontract to builders, or both. Two very different buyers arrive at a bricklayer’s site and each needs to see that you want their sort of work.
What size of job do you take
Being clear that you will do a garden wall as well as an extension shell, or that you will not, prevents wasted enquiries in both directions.
Are you insured and what are your qualifications
Public liability and your CSCS card. For commercial and new-build work these are asked for as a matter of course, so they belong on the site rather than in an email later.
Pages that pull their weight
One page per job, not one page for everything
Extension brickwork, repointing and garden walls are found through completely different searches and bought by different people.
Extensions and structural brickwork
Usually subcontracted from a builder, and your steadiest income. Show shells, openings, cavity work and lintels — the parts a builder judges you on rather than a homeowner.
Repointing and brick repair
Domestic, well paid and searched by name, particularly on Victorian properties. Explain why lime mortar matters on older buildings — most homeowners have never heard it and it marks you out immediately.
Garden walls and landscaping brickwork
Smaller jobs that fill gaps between larger ones, and often the first job a domestic customer gives you before a bigger one.
Chimneys and rebuilds
Specialist work at height with fewer competitors. Frequently urgent after storm damage, and often paid by an insurer rather than the homeowner.
What it costs
From £10 + VAT per month
Design, build, hosting on top-tier servers, and the contact form wired end to end so an enquiry reaches your phone rather than a mailbox nobody checks. Search engine review and ongoing optimisation are available alongside.
We are in Herefordshire and work across Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Dudley, Walsall and the wider West Midlands. Tell us what sort of work you want more of and we will say plainly what would bring it in.
Worth saying plainly
We are a West Midlands digital business, not a national web factory. That means you speak to the person building the site, the quote is fixed before anything starts, and if a website is not what your business needs right now we will tell you that instead of selling you one.
The examples on our websites page are design concepts rather than client sites — we are new and building our client base, and we would rather say so than dress up a portfolio.
