Websites for builders
Builder website design, from £10 + VAT per month
Finished work, honest timescales, and a straight answer on money
Extensions and loft conversions are the largest cheque most households ever write to a stranger. A builder website has to do the reassuring that a two-line quote cannot.
What your customers check first
The homeowner is deciding whether to trust you with £40,000
Your website will show finished projects properly, in galleries built to be flicked through on a phone while standing on site.
Have you finished jobs like mine
A gallery sorted by job type — rear extension, loft, garage conversion, full renovation — beats one long reel of unlabelled photographs. Somebody planning a side return wants to see a side return, not scroll past twenty kitchens to find one.
Are you insured, and who are you registered with
Public liability cover, and the FMB or TrustMark registration if you hold one. Homeowners have read the horror stories and are actively looking for a reason to rule you out. Do not make them hunt.
How long will my house be a building site
Indicative timescales for the jobs you do most. Being straight that a single-storey extension is twelve to sixteen weeks builds more confidence than a vague promise of a quick turnaround, and it filters out people expecting six.
How does the money work
Whether you take a deposit, how staged payments are set, and what happens if the scope changes mid-job. Saying this in public is unusual enough that it becomes a reason to ring you rather than the next firm.
Pages that pull their weight
One page per job, not one page for everything
A single Services page listing everything competes with every other builder listing the same. Somebody searches for the job they want by name, so the page needs to carry that name.
Extensions
The highest-value enquiry most builders get, and the one where the homeowner reads for weeks first. Cover single and double storey, what planning and building regulations involve, and roughly what a square metre costs.
Loft conversions
A distinct search with distinct worries — head height, staircase position, whether it will count as a bedroom. A page answering those turns up for people who would never find a general builder page.
Renovations and refurbishments
Often a whole-house project with a longer decision cycle. Before and after sets do the heavy lifting here, particularly on period properties where the buyer is nervous about damage.
Groundwork and structural work
Underpinning, footings, steels, removing a wall. Lower volume, but the people searching are further along and closer to committing than anyone browsing your homepage.
What it costs
From £10 + VAT per month
Design, build, hosting on top-tier servers, and the contact form wired end to end so an enquiry reaches your phone rather than a mailbox nobody checks. Search engine review and ongoing optimisation are available alongside.
We are in Herefordshire and work across Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Dudley, Walsall and the wider West Midlands. Tell us what sort of work you want more of and we will say plainly what would bring it in.
Worth saying plainly
We are a West Midlands digital business, not a national web factory. That means you speak to the person building the site, the quote is fixed before anything starts, and if a website is not what your business needs right now we will tell you that instead of selling you one.
The examples on our websites page are design concepts rather than client sites — we are new and building our client base, and we would rather say so than dress up a portfolio.
