Websites for cafés
Café website design, from £10 + VAT per month
Hours, menu, allergens, directions — in that order
Most people reach a café website on a phone, within a mile of the door, in the next twenty minutes. Everything else on the site matters less than those three facts being instantly findable.
What your customers check first
Somebody is standing in the street deciding where to eat
Your website will put your menu, opening hours and location at the top, because that is what most visitors came for.
Are you open right now
Opening hours at the top, correct, and including bank holidays. Wrong hours are worse than no hours — they send somebody to a locked door, and that is the review you get.
What is on and what does it cost
A real menu as text on the page, not a photograph of a chalkboard and not a PDF. Neither of those can be read comfortably on a phone or by a search engine, and both cost you customers who could not be bothered to pinch and zoom.
Can I actually eat here
Allergens, and whether there are proper vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options rather than one afterthought. In a group of four, the person with the restriction usually picks where everyone goes.
Where are you and can I park
A map, the nearest car park, and whether there is step-free access. Small details that decide it when somebody is choosing between you and the place around the corner.
Pages that pull their weight
A small site that does its job faster than a big one
A café does not need twenty pages. It needs four or five that load quickly on a weak signal and answer the question the visitor came with.
Menus
Breakfast, lunch and specials as separate, readable sections. Kept current — an out-of-date menu is the most common complaint customers have about café websites, and the easiest to fix.
Bookings and larger groups
Whether you take reservations, from what group size, and how. Even a café that mostly takes walk-ins should say so plainly rather than leaving people to guess.
Private hire and events
Higher-value bookings that rarely arrive by accident. A page saying you do function hire, buffets or after-hours events is often the only reason such an enquiry ever reaches you.
Find us
Address, map, parking, accessibility and public transport. Consistent with your Google Business Profile down to the punctuation, because inconsistency there quietly costs you local search visibility.
What it costs
From £10 + VAT per month
Design, build, hosting on top-tier servers, and the contact form wired end to end so an enquiry reaches your phone rather than a mailbox nobody checks. Search engine review and ongoing optimisation are available alongside.
We are in Herefordshire and work across Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Dudley, Walsall and the wider West Midlands. Tell us what sort of work you want more of and we will say plainly what would bring it in.
Worth saying plainly
We are a West Midlands digital business, not a national web factory. That means you speak to the person building the site, the quote is fixed before anything starts, and if a website is not what your business needs right now we will tell you that instead of selling you one.
The examples on our websites page are design concepts rather than client sites — we are new and building our client base, and we would rather say so than dress up a portfolio.
