Websites for painters and decorators
Painter and decorator website design, from £10 + VAT per month
Preparation is what you sell, so the site should say so
Anyone can put paint on a wall. The difference between you and the man with a van is preparation, and that is invisible in a finished photograph unless the website spells it out.
What your customers check first
They have been let down by a cheap quote before
Your website will let before-and-after pairs do the selling, because that is what convinces people to ring.
What preparation is included
Filling, sanding, caulking, priming bare plaster, how many coats. This is where the price difference lives, and a customer comparing two quotes cannot see it unless one of you explains it.
How much mess will there be
Dust sheets, dust extraction when sanding, whether furniture is moved and whether you clear up daily. For interior work in an occupied house this concern often outweighs price.
What does a room cost
An indicative price for a standard bedroom, a hallway and stairs, or a whole house. Decorating is estimated well enough from room count that a genuine range is possible, and it filters enquiries hard.
How long will you be in my house
Days per room, working hours, and whether you need a key. Interior decorating is unusually intrusive, and people want to know how long they are living around it.
Pages that pull their weight
Interior, exterior and commercial are three different sales
They have different seasons, different buyers and different price points. Splitting them lets each page speak to the person actually reading it.
Interior decorating
Your bread and butter, and busiest through the darker months. Emphasise preparation, protection of the customer’s belongings and a tidy finish.
Exterior painting
Weather-dependent and seasonal, so worth ranking well before spring. Cover render, masonry, timber and the access equipment you use.
Wallpapering
A distinct skill with a distinct search, and one many decorators quietly avoid. If you hang paper properly — particularly the difficult modern papers — say so, because customers hunt for it.
Commercial and landlord work
Repeat contracts from letting agents, offices and pubs. A different pitch entirely: speed, out-of-hours working, consistency and invoicing rather than colour advice.
What it costs
From £10 + VAT per month
Design, build, hosting on top-tier servers, and the contact form wired end to end so an enquiry reaches your phone rather than a mailbox nobody checks. Search engine review and ongoing optimisation are available alongside.
We are in Herefordshire and work across Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Dudley, Walsall and the wider West Midlands. Tell us what sort of work you want more of and we will say plainly what would bring it in.
Worth saying plainly
We are a West Midlands digital business, not a national web factory. That means you speak to the person building the site, the quote is fixed before anything starts, and if a website is not what your business needs right now we will tell you that instead of selling you one.
The examples on our websites page are design concepts rather than client sites — we are new and building our client base, and we would rather say so than dress up a portfolio.
